Thanks to Mistral^®, piglets dry faster at birth and can concentrate their energy on reaching the sow’s nipples to feed on colostrum. Mortality by crushing and exhaustion in the first 48 hours decreases significantly. By controlling moisture, Mistral^® also reduces the number of pathogens responsible for digestive disorders.

At weaning

Immunity is the key

Weaning is the most stressful time for piglets. The strong “olfactory memory” effect in piglets bathed in Mistral^® at birth limits the stress of weaning. It is important to minimize all forms of stress, which can weaken the immune system, to support the critical transition from passive to active immunity.

Directions for use

For optimal efficiency, we advise the following doses and frequency of use for different phases:

● Breeding, gestation and boar pens: 65 g per animal daily, 3 times a week.

● Farrowing: 1-2 kg per litter scattered over the whole crate, paying particular attention to the back of the crate.

● Gilt: 100 g per gilt daily.

● Straw or shaving-free housing: 300-500 g per pig weekly.
