Olmix to present a poster at the IPVS in Dublin, Ireland
Matthieu Le Goff, Olmix's Manager Development Algo-Ceutical, will present a study about the immunomodulation effect of several EA concentrations, administrated orally to gilts.
Olmix Group will attend the 24th edition of the International Pig Veterinary Congress, to be held in Dublin (Ireland) from 7-10 June. The event will gather hundreds of professionals from the swine industry and will offer a wide range of conferences and round tables to cover topics such us virology and viral diseases, reproduction or veterinary public health and food safety.
In this context, Olmix will take the opportunity and present a poster during one of the plenary sessions. Matthieu Le Goff, Olmix's Manager Development Algo-Ceutical, will present a document entitled Immune modulating effect of a seaweed extract on specific IgG and total IgA titers in the colostrum and milk in gilts.
The goal of this study was to evaluate in vivo the immunomodulation effect of several EA concentrations, administrated orally to gilts. The immunomodulation potential of a crude extract, from green algae Ulva armoricana (EA), has been already demonstrated in vitro by Berri and al (2015).
Olmix Group has presented other posters recently at the JRP (Journées de la Recherche Porcine) and APVS (Asian Pig Veterinary Society).
