Mustapha Berri from INRA Nouzilly gave a speech entitled “Sulfated polysaccharides-rich extract of Ulva armoricana green algae exhibits an antimicrobial activity and stimulates cytokine expression by intestinal epithelial cells”, a work conducted with Olmix Group.
The European Symposium of Porcine Health Management (ESPHM) took place in Nantes, from April 22nd to 24th and hosted several hundred participants. People appreciated the latest advances presented in diverse topics such as group housed sows, welfare, nutrition, mycotoxins, bacterial and viral diseases, reproduction and immunology. Two special sessions were dedicated to the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.
