The company has received dozens of visitors at booth number 12 during the first 2 days of the event. Julia Laurain, Olmix's Technical Service Manager, delivered a presentation yesterday.
Although the World Mycotoxin Forum will be open until the 9th of June, the event has already attracted around 450 of professionals during its 2 first days. Analytical methods, risk assesments, regulation, effects on health or solutions to counteract were some of the topics the attendees could get informed about through the first half of the event.
The Olmix team, holding the booth number 12 (at ballroom 1), explained it’s strategy to manage mycotoxins issues in animals to those who approached the stand and also informed them about MT.x+ and MMi.S, two natural mycotoxin binders from the company.
Besides, Julia Laurain, Olmix’s Technical Service Manager in Europe, delivered a presentation on the correlations in the ocurrence of fusariotoxins in different contaminated feed materials.
"Feed raw materials show different fusariotoxins occurrence depending on the type of culture, as shown by SCOOP survey in 2003, This study shows that the occurrence of some mycotoxins are correlated in some raw materials. This could be used to manage mycotoxin risk in feed", she explained.
