Olmix technology is of interest to the World Bank. In a global atmosphere of reflection on food security and antibiotic resistance, products of the Eco-Concept type start counting as serious alternatives to be considered.
Agriculture has long been almost ignored in such institutions but today clear signs of interest start to become apparent. This week’s meetings at the highest level prove it. The WB directorates for agricultural policies and food security have now at their disposal the technical and scientific files of the concepts developed and of the research conducted on algae by Olmix.
More than three hours of very intensive and interactive meetings took place at the highest level with the veterinary services of the Wold Bank during these three days in Washington.
Over 80 experts in the field, coming from the five continents, attended the presentations and are now familiar with the scientific and practical know-how of Olmix, which is also present on the five continents.
Poultry is a dominant issue and fish apparently wants to get its head above water. The big heavy hitters such as Nigeria, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, India and the Sahel dominate the scene in the current concerns.
