Olmix International Seminar kicked off in Vietnam
Olmix International Seminar on the challenges of animal nutrition and health in Asia over the next 10 years has opened today.
Held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the seminar was participated by over 200 audiences who are customers, partners and distributors of Olmix across the region.
“Olmix is committed to providing natural solutions for animal production without antibiotics. This seminar is a part of our services to assist the industry to achieve this goal through sharing latest information and research in this area,” said Hervé Balusson, Olmix's CEO and founder.
Today’s highlight at the plenary session was composed of an overview of the livestock industry in Vietnam by Chu Dinh Khu from Vietnam’s Department of Livestock, followed by a review of the feed industry in Southeast Asia by Dr Theerawit Poeikhampha from Kasetsart University, Thailand.
Michel Guillaume, Olmix’s Technical Director, shared his views and analysis on the challenges of animal nutrition and health in Asia over the next 10 years.
Apart from the plenary session, the seminar was divided into four different workshops in swine, poultry, dairy and aquaculture. This arrangement has allowed the participants to get specific information based on their particular interests.
