Olmix in the heart of the trip to China of Nicole Bricq, Minister of Foreign Trade
The Minister was accompanied by business leaders and professional associations specialized in the food sector.
Olmix attended the reception of the French Minister of Foreign Trade, Nicole Bricq, in China from January 20 to 22. The Minister was accompanied by business leaders and professional associations specialized in the food sector, identified as particularly promising for French exports in the action plan presented by the Minister on December 3. China should indeed see its imports increase by 10% annually up to 2022.
With its commercial success, Olmix won the Excellence Award for SMEs in China, from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of France in China. This award, was handed to Mr Herve Balusson (OLMIX President and CEO) by Mr François Drouin (OSEO President & CEO), rewarding thereby the company strategy in a fast growing market. Since the creation in 2007, the commercial subsidiary Olmix China Co., Ltd never stops to growth in a very dynamic and strategic market for Olmix Group.
In collaboration with the Technopole Brest Iroise, Olmix Company also carries a large project to develop a complete field of macro algae in China. This project is part of the "Blue Economy" plan launched by the PRC in 2007 for the enhancement of marine resources.
