Murilo Piva: "Technology is helping us take advantage of algae properties"
Olmix Group's Territory Manager in Brazil was interviewed by the local magazine feed&food, where he talked about the activities of the company and the importance of technology to improve the productivity.
Two months after the start of its commercial activity in Brazil, Olmix Group is already becoming a reference for the algae sector of the country.
With the recent opening of a training center in Jundiai-São Paulo, Olmix continues expanding its presence all across the national territory. In order to reach this goal, the Olmix Brazilian Team participated in the latest edition of the Simpósio Brasil Sul de Avicultura (Chapecó, 5-7 April ), where they presented the mycotoxin binder MT.X+.

“Olmix has managed to increase the interlayer space of natural montmorillonite clay thanks to the ulvans, green algae polysaccharides. Olmix mycotoxin binders associate specific algae and clays to efficiently reduce the impact of mycotoxins, including the most difficult to bind toxins, such as fusarium. This technology is ready and help us to achieve better results, with less resource. This is our message, work with algae to make different”, he said.
