Olmix Group took the opportunity at the Asian-Pacific Aquacutlure 2016 to show two of its Animal Care range products: MFeed and MFeed+
MFeed, which is a combination of selected ingredients designed to enhance gut health and get rid of pathogens, gained a lot of interest among aquaculturists and feed millers visiting the Asia Pacific Aquaculture 2016, which was held in Surabaya from 26-29 of April.
Olmix participated in the event to showcase its range of solutions for aquaculture. In Indonesia, MFeed is being used by shrimp and fish farms to improve digestive health.
MFeed+ reduces fish meal inclusion in tilapia diet
Olmix Group went the extra mile to show the properties of MFeed+ through a conference entitled Effect of an algae-clay based biocatalyst on the digestive and growth performance of Nile Tilapia fed two different diets with different level of fish meal. Maarten Jay Van Schoonhoven, Olmix’s Aqua Business Unit Manager, Maarten Jay Van Schoonhoven, Olmix’s Aqua Business Unit Manager, addressed on this during his presentation at the event.
“Fish farmers and feed millers can reduce fish meal inclusion in tilapia diets a great deal through using MFeed+, a unique combination of clay and seaweed developed to boost enzyme activity”, he explained.
