Launch of Algimun®, new born of our range "immunity" in space 2018

In modern intensive farming, livestock immune systems face constant challenges.

ALGIMUN® continually reinforces animals’ natural defences to make them more robust, and resistant to everyday stress.  

ALGIMUN® is composed of macroalgae extracts (sulfated polysaccharides) with proven biological and synergistic properties (INRA/Intestinal Biotech Development – IBD), isolated through Olmix Group technologies (MSP®).

ALGIMUN® reinforces the integrity of the intestinal wall for improved resistance to stress, while modulating the production of mediators of immune response in animals.

When incorporated into feed, ALGIMUN® optimizes growth performance and improves profitability.

It is suitable for all species and naturally helps reduce the use of antibiotics in farming.

The launch of ALGIMUN® will take place at 10.30 am on Tuesday in Room F, administration area,, with a presentation by Mustapha Berri from INRA’s Infectiology and Public Health research centre: “Exploring the potential of Breton algae for improving livestock immunity and reducing the use of antibiotics in farming.” (first release in france, before official global launch at EuroTier).

The presentation will be followed by a seafood tasting session attended by our technical team, who will present in more detail the product’s mechanism of action and the results obtained in the field.

Olmix Group at SPACE 2018

Olmix will also be present as usual at two booths:

• The main Olmix booth in Hall 9, C59 (new location!), where we will present our algae-sourced solutions aimed at improving livestock performance and reducing the use of antibiotics, pesticides and chemical additives.
