Together, CEO of innovating companies, researchers, feedmillers, professionals of investment funds and other aquaculture stakeholders, expressed their ideas on optimal use of macro-algae in aquaculture.
First, attendees shared their knowledge on a general basis, then the discussion was focused on three main points:
- Nutrition and active ingredients;
- Market requirements and regulation;
- Capacity of the sea to produce ingredients.
The Convention was a hot spot for networking the European algae and aquaculture Community. CEOs of important companies participated at the Convention, including Mr Hervé Ballusson from Olmix.
