Olmix welcomes the ESTONIAN and RUSSIAN delegations in Brittany.
As part of our business partnership, Olmix Group hosted this week a delegation from Russia and Estonia to show them the use of Olmix biotechnology in pork industry.
The guests had the opportunity to visit a livestock unit that uses our range of products such as MISTRAL, ECOPIGLET and MT.X+, a pork farm whose aim is to produce 33 piglets per year and that it is now achieving a production of 32 weaned piglets per sow per year.
The exchange visit continued to the leading French operator in pork industry COOPERL ARC ATLANTIQUE with a slaughtering capacity of 5,000,000 pigs that means 25 % of the French swine production. COOPERL ARC ATLANTIQUE is also using Olmix solutions within their approach to produce pigs without using antibiotics.
The visit to ZOOPOLE DE PLOUFRAGAN, pole of expertise in the sector of livestock production and feed security, enabled to our delegation to discover the first European laboratory in terms of experience in mycotoxins analysis.
In the end, during a morning day, the delegation undertook a visit in the Group’s laboratories, after having the opportunity to listen to a presentation around the expertise of Olmix on the valorization of algal extracts, from science to technology, focusing on algae benefits for the animal care.
