Olmix, sponsor of students at the National Trophy of Agricultural Colleges

The International Agricultural Show is a key event for the promotion of French genetics.

There is an opportunity for Olmix to show its support to future farmers attending the National Trophy of Agricultural Colleges.

For the first time, Gros-Chêne de Pontivy College will compete on the occasion of Agricultural Show in Paris.

Together with «Destel», their prim'holstein dairy cow, the four students will compete against 50 others competitors.

On Tuesday, in the morning, Pierre Guéhenneux, Rémi Cadio, Mickaël Harnois and Kévin Jaffré, students in the second year of BTS “Farming systems analysis and operations” at Gros-Chêne Agricultural College will start their competition in Parc des exposition de Paris, located Porte de Versailles, where is held the International Agricultural Show.

Ready to start on board of their cattle, «Destel»,a prim'holstein dairy cow coming from the educational farm of their institution, 5 years of age( and a weight of 700 kg) that they have chosen for National Trophy of Agricultural Colleges contest.

For the four students, this event is the result of a successful project launched in September involving the getting of the budget, the choice of the cow, general and special training and finally the preparation of the sanitary documents.

Verdict : next Sunday.

Olmix proudly supports these students by sponsoring awards because they represent the living forces of the future dairy production.
