Olmix opens the keynote talks of AMVECAJ 2014
The speakers put the focus on the current situation of the quality of raw materials in relation to the toxins present in them. The two conferences invite reflection on the impact on productivity and immunity of pigs and other species.
Olmix and Apligén had the honor of participating in the 2014 AMVECAJ, where the congress was opened with the keynote lecture entitled "The Challenge of toxins on IGF1 and its effect on pigs productivity" by Eng M ª Ángeles Rodríguez, Olmix group specialist in mycotoxins, and the keynote lecture "Current status and trends in the markets of grain and pork" by Lic. Gabriel Álvarez, Graduate in Economics, with degree in Corporate Finance of Agritendencias Internacionales México.
The speakers put the focus on the current situation of the quality of raw materials in relation to the toxins present in them. This is highly related to climate change that directly affects crops, reflected in the increase of certain toxic metabolites which normally are not reviewed when the raw materials are analyzed, affecting the quality and availability of grains and pastas.
